Owned by the IRFU the rugby, football stadium is primarily used by Munster Rugby, Dolphin RFC and Sundays Well RFC (All Ireland League Senior Club sides). The Stadium has also played host to popular international acts including Il Divo and Katherine Jenkins and José Carrera.
Getting To Irish Independent Park From Clayton Hotel Silver Springs
Parking may be scarce on the day of events so the stadium recommends using the “Black Ash Park & Ride” facility and then walking 10 minutes to the stadium. Parking prices vary. Alternatively you can take the 203 bus from Patrick’s Street and that will have you at the park in 13 minutes. Directions to Irish Independent Park:
Turn left onto N8, go through 1 roundabout and take the M8/N25 ramp to Dublin/South Ring/N22/N27/N28/N71.
At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto N40 heading to South Ring/Airport. In 7.4 km exit onto Kinsale Road/N27 towards the Airport and City Centre.
At the Kinsale Road Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Kinsale Road heading to Turner’s Cross. Take the next left turn and Musgrave Park will be on the left.
