Our Tivoli Ballroom is our exclusive venue for gala events. Hosting a sit-down dinner for up to 570 guests, the ballroom is versatile and can be divided into two for smaller dining events. We have a dedicated pre-reception area with a private bar, inbuilt sprung dance floor and subtle integration of technology for the perfect evening of entertainment.

Gala & Awards Banquets


The ballroom lends itself seamlessly to host a great variety of the most glamorous banquets of all sizes. The ballroom is adorned with 8 glittering chandeliers and mood lighting which transforms the ballroom to your required taste. This is magnificent setting is ideal for a gala banquet that requires a landmark venue and has one of the city’s largest capacities for gala banquets.

So, with a great team of chefs behind us, we can tailor our menus to suit your banquet.  Our Head Chef Greg, will ensure a menu that is both imaginative and delicious, using the best of locally sourced ingredients.

Green Events


Enjoy a greener event at Clayton Hotel Silver Springs. Living Green is Clayton Hotels environmental movement that inspires care for our environment as a “Way of Life” throughout our events.

We are continually working to minimise our impact on the environment so that we can positively impact our environmental footprint. We are accredited by Green Tourism, and we currently hold a bronze certificate, our team are committed to achieving gold status.

Our events team members are part of the Hotel Green Team whose roles increase awareness, idea generation, implementation of measures and educate colleagues on environmental issues and working practices.

Green Facilities

  • Our waste management segregation plans priorities recycling and reduction of single use plastics
  • Led lighting and motion sensors throughout the meeting rooms, meeting room corridors and toilet facilities to reduce energy consumption when not in use.
  • Hybrid Air Conditioning Units are used throughout the meeting rooms.
  • Aerators are fitted on all water taps throughout meeting room toilet facilities to reduce water usage by 50%
  • We have a demand response scheme where we use technology to monitor energy consumption in our meeting rooms.

Dining

  • Producer to plate is very important for our Head Chef, Greg who works with suppliers that are local where possible, so that we can cut down on our food miles.
  • We will provide compostable cups and cutlery for coffee breaks and conference lunches.
  • We have our herb garden, which allows us to have a wide array of organic fresh herbs adding only the best of flavour to our dishes and cocktails.

Transport

  • We offer an electric car charger to our delegates.
  • Coca-Cola Zero rental bikes make it very easy to get around the city. There are several bike docks located around the city, making getting around easy and green.
  • Where practical we encourage our staff to use the bike to work scheme for transport to and from work.
